COVID-19 RESPONSE (VIRTUAL STUDY SUPPORT)
At Community Education Foundation & Lyncx (CEF Lyncx), we recognise that the COVID-19 crisis is changing the way we know to live our lives and therefore, we have taken time out to look at ways that we could work with our community to ensure that children, young people and their families who access our services are, as much as possible, better prepared to adapt to the changing environment now and beyond COVID-19
Our response is developed with the expectation that the COVID-19 crisis will certainly lead to changes in the way we live. For example, how we work, access and consume services. On one hand, we foresee that the changes will have some positive environment outcomes and on the other, some challenging social outcomes, for example, how children, young people and their families adapt and manage social distancing, isolation, access information and services safely and above, adapt to these new way of life.
The question for us has been how we create a balance between these two critical positions. Our immediate response informed by co-production efforts with our community of children, young people and families, Residents/Tenants Management Organisation Partners in Lambeth and the many network conversations. Enabling us to develop our COVID-19 offer, which ensures that our services are fit for purpose, supports the needs of our community of children, young people and their families; now and beyond the COVID-19 crisis.
